Balancing of rotors, rolls and turbines
Imbalance in rotating equipment causes vibration, wear and shorter service life. Mekanisk Service Halden carries out static and dynamic balancing of motors, rotors, rolls and turbines, from small components to rotors of up to 20 tonnes, Ø2,500 mm and 14 metres in length. We balance both in our workshop and on site at the customer’s premises (field balancing).

Field balancing on site
With the SKF Microlog Analyzer dBX, we also balance rotating equipment where it is installed, on site at the customer’s premises. That means you do not have to dismantle the equipment and ship it to our workshop.
Part of the bigger picture
Balancing often goes hand in hand with other work on rotating equipment. Our service technicians also carry out laser alignment and vibration analysis, and we turn and repair shafts and rolls in our own workshop.
