Transparency Act due diligence assessment 2025
At Mekanisk Service Halden AS, we take responsibility seriously.
We work actively to promote human rights, decent working conditions and transparency in everything we do. Here you can read how we comply with the Norwegian Transparency Act (Åpenhetsloven) and how we work to keep improving:
What does the Transparency Act mean for us?
The Transparency Act requires us to show how we address actual and potential adverse impacts on human rights and working conditions, both internally and at our suppliers. We are committed to transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.
How we map and follow up our suppliers
We regularly map all our suppliers, both in Norway and abroad, with a focus on:
• Human rights
• Working conditions
• Environment and anti-corruption
Any findings are followed up through dialogue, measures or adjustments to the collaboration.
What do we do if we find non-conformities?
If we uncover breaches of our guidelines, we:
• Contact the supplier directly to put things right
• Adjust agreements where necessary
• May end the collaboration if necessary
• Document and closely monitor developments
Our internal system makes it possible to report non-conformities anonymously.
We work to make a positive difference
Transparency, respect and responsibility are at the heart of our business. By taking the Transparency Act seriously, we contribute to better business and a better society. We are committed to continuing this work with openness, honesty and integrity.
